London Underground Jubilee line - A3 Print
A scene any Londoner or visitor of London underground is accustomed to. The interior of a Tube train, empty of passengers (as rare as that may be). This scene was painted in a Jubilee line train in 2013 with watercolours and biro. The composition contrasts the focused and detailed other end of the carriage, while objects nearer the observers line of sight, remain loose and coloured. This is almost a reverse of tunnel vision, within a mode of transport that consistently uses tunnels. A painting that would fit in any setting, this is piece wouldn't look at of place in a London office or living room.
